Rift Valley Prison to lead top teams at Eldoret City volleyball tourney

Rift Valley Prison volleyball team will lead other teams at the inaugural Eldoret City Volleyball Open tournament set for next month at the Eldoret Sports Club.

The tournament, which will off from December 30^th to 4^th has so far attracted 19 teams, 11 men and eight in the women ahead of November 30 registration deadline.

The tournament has also attracted foreign teams led by Ugandan OBB, Rwanda’s Rwandair, Forest Rangers, Kenya Defence Forces, Vihiga, Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), General Service Unit (GSU), Uasin Gishu, Equity Bank and Ere Nee Chitab Kalenjin in men.

For the women, KCB, Vihiga, KDF, Kenya Pipeline, KIU-(Tanzania), UGC, Cheptil and Post Bank have so far confirmed.

According to the organizers, registration fee for clubs is 5,000, Colleges and Universities 2,000 while schools and Self-supporting teams will produce 1,500.
