Teresa Giudice addressed her “friends divorce” with former castmate Jacqueline Laurita as she also defended Jacqueline. Plus, she promised viewers will see a “different Teresa” in the upcoming season of Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Jacqueline, an OG castmate who starred with Teresa for many seasons, recently claimed Teresa’s sister-in-law Melissa Gorga was good at lying. She also suggested Melissa is attempting to form an alliance with Caroline Manzo amid her rumored return. Teresa and Melissa are no longer in communication following their reported fight at the season finale when a rumor about Melissa’s alleged affair was discussed.
On her Namaste B$tches podcast, Teresa addressed the end of her friendship with Jacqueline, which occurred “on camera.”
The star revealed she was “devastated,” and she described it as a “friends divorce.”
“I really was sad for a while,” said Teresa. “[My ex-husband] Joe could tell you.” The star said she now wishes Jacqueline “nothing but the best” as she lives with her family in Las Vegas.
When asked why Jacqueline is revealing this information, Teresa claimed she had “no idea,” but she challenged the accusation that Jacqueline was “thirsty.”
“She’s not like that,” said Teresa.
The OG also shared she’s been doing internal work, and she is seeing a therapist who’s helping her grow. According to Teresa, audiences will see the fruition of this in the upcoming season.
“It’s gonna be a different Teresa. Everyone’s gonna see a different Teresa,” she said, via Heavy, adding that viewers will be “amazed” by it. “I think they’re gonna be happy with me … I can’t wait.”
She went on to say, “[I] did it for them too, I wanted them to see that people could change.”
Teresa also addressed a recent controversial interview with PEOPLE when she claimed that she and her husband had sex three times a day.
“I’m too good,” said Teresa. “Very honest … I trust people too much.” The star then expressed, “I gotta play dirty like everybody else does.”
