Camille Grammer said goodbye to her mom, Maureen Wilson Donatacci, on Saturday after a long battle with cancer.
Along with a series of photos of the two of them in happier times, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star confirmed Maureen died at 75 after showing decades of strength in the face of the deadly disease and was immediately met with love and support from her former castmates and other Bravolebrities.
“My mom gained her angel wings today,” Camille, who has also been faced with cancer, wrote to her fans and followers on December 17. “She was a strong beautiful warrior who fought to the very end. Her strength and endurance was an inspiration to so many. She lived her life to the fullest. Her love and sense of humor made us feel better during difficult times. I will miss you everyday. I love you so much!”
Following the post, Camille was flooded with kind messages.
“Camille I am so very sorry for your loss … Thinking of you,” wrote Kyle Richards.
“Oh Camille my heart is broken for you. Xx,” said Denise Richards.
“Peace be with you all,” sent Vicki Gunvalson.
And after Shannon Beador told Camille, “I am so sorry Camille! Sending love to you and your family,” Kathy Hilton reacted with praying hands and broken heart emoji
Sutton Stracke spoke out as well, telling Camille, “So sorry to hear. And so glad you were able to see her and be with her. May she rest peacefully in heaven.”
“May she Rest in Peace,” added Mercedes “MJ” Javid.
Then, Camille’s former co-star, Taylor Armstrong, shared, “So sorry Camille … Thinking of you and your family,” and Stephanie Hollman said she was “so sorry for your loss.”
Back in September, Camille shared a couple of photos of her mother, confirming Maureen had been battling cancer for decades.
“For my birthday I spent a few days with my family. It was a very special birthday for me to spend that time with my mother who’s been battling kidney and bladder cancer for years now,” Camille wrote in the caption of her slideshow. “She was first diagnosed at the age of 47 with stage 3 ovarian cancer. With the help of her amazing doctors she is still with us.”
“Her 75th birthday is on the 19th of September. Bless her for not giving up years ago,” she continued. “Let this be a reminder how precious life is. September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month (GCAM). Ladies listen to your bodies if something doesn’t seem right call your doctor. Don’t forget your annual Check ups.”
Camille was featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in a full-time role from season one until season two and has made a number of cameo and guest-starring appearances in the years since.
