A person was injured Saturday evening during a robbery in Berkeley.
The person was injured shortly after 8 p.m. while being accosted by two robbers near Shattuck Avenue and Delaware Street, according to the Berkeley Police Department. At least one of the robbers had a knife and used it to cut the person’s purse straps — injuring that person in the process, police said.
Few other details about the incident have been released, and authorities gave no information on the severity of the victim’s injuries.
No arrests have been announced in the case.
