One dead in Santa Cruz party shooting, suspect still at large

One person was shot dead at a party in the Santa Cruz area on Saturday night at 10 p.m. — and the suspect is still at large.

Santa Cruz County sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1000 block of Brimblecom Road in Boulder Creek. Upon arrival at the scene, authorities found one person with a gunshot wound who later succumbed to their injuries.
