Lil Wayne has announced dates for his eagerly anticipated Welcome to Tha Carter Tour.
The 28-city trek, which kicks off April 4 in Minneapolis, includes three stops in California.
Lil Wayne performs May 12 at the Masonic in San Francisco as well as May 10 at SOMA in San Diego and May 13 at the Wiltern in Los Angeles.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 3 at Lilwayneofficial.com.
Lil Wayne ranks among the top-selling acts in the world, having reportedly sold more than 100 millions records during his career. He’s also won five Grammys, 26 BET Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, seven MTV Awards, four Soul Train Awards and eight BMI Awards.
He’s best known musically for his “Tha Carter” album series, which includes 2008’s wonderful multiplatinum chart-topper “Tha Carter III.”
