Kyle Richards & Kathy Hilton Plan Niece’s Baby Shower

Kyle Richards and sister, Kathy Hilton, may not be on the greatest terms right now after a tense season 12 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but family is family.

The sisterly trio recently came together to plan Kim Richards’ daughter, Brooke Wiederhorn’s, baby shower in celebration and anticipation of her third child co-hosted by Paris and Nicky Hilton as well as Kyle’s daughters, Farrah Aldjfrie and Alexia, Sophia, and Portia Umansky.

According to E! News, the lavish party was held at Kathy’s home and included ornate decorations including a tablescape adorned with upwards of 400 stems of roses and delicious treats by Dolci Delivered. Also in attendance was fellow RHOBH costar, Sutton Stracke, and close friend of the family, Faye Resnick.

However, Kyle, was a no show to the event despite having a hand in planning it.

According to a source, Kyle was unable to make it to the celebration because she was “working at another event across town.”

The excuse is pretty convenient as the two have been very publicly mired down in a feud stemming from Kathy’s alleged “meltdown” in Aspen, Co. The situation has been playing out in a back and forth between Kathy, Kyle, and Lisa Rinna (who’s inability to “let it go” has only fueled the fire) on the RHOBH reunion.

Kyle recently told E! that this season and the following reunion has been her “least favorite ever.”

The “Halloween” actress has admitted that she and Kathy are “not great” presently, but she has “high hopes” that they can reconcile in the future.

“I know that’s why I was so emotional at the reunion,” she said. “For me, I don’t think people realize how much it affects my family and the relationships, and I have been holding that in for so long, and that’s why I felt so emotional.”

“We’re a family and we’ll always come back together,” she concluded.
